It’s not surprising Argentina’s World Cup winning team celebrated hard after being crowned winners of Qatar 2022.
But it turns out the party went that hard that La Albiceleste’s captain Lionel Messi had tried to calm ex-striker Sergio Aguero down, telling him to slow down on the drinking as they partied in the Middle East.

Aguero was right in the middle of Argentina’s celebrations
It was hard to miss Aguero during Argentina’s celebrations as the South Americans lifted the World Cup for the third time, the first since 1978.
The ex-Manchester City star – who was forced to retire after being diagnosed with a cardiac arrhythmia and therefore couldn’t play in Qatar – celebrated like he was still part of the team he scored 41 goals in 101 appearances for.
The former striker smoked a cigar, kissed the trophy and was even carrying captain and talisman Messi around the pitch on his shoulders after the trophy ceremony.
Speaking about his celebration with Messi – who recently made a verbal pact with Paris Saint-Germain to stay at the club – Aguero told Argentinian outlet TyC Sports: “I lifted the best in the world.
“Of course, my back hurt a lot. When I raised him I said: ‘S***. He weighs’.
“I moved my shoulders so that he would jump, but they started to get some stitches in my back.
